On the other hand, Al Redha explained that fuel consumption is the largest factor in the company’s operating expenses, as it represents about 35 percent of the total operating expenses, adding that aircraft are currently being supplied with more fuel due to the inability to use some countries’ airspace.
He pointed out that Emirates Airlines already has programs that work to reduce fuel consumption.
