Emirates Airlines and the Museum of the Future announce the list of speakers and agenda for Future Aviation Week

Emirates Airlines and the Museum of the Future today revealed the official speakers and details of the agenda for Future Aviation Week, which will be held from October 15 to 17 in Dubai.

Adel Al Redha, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Emirates Airlines, said: “Future Aviation Week events attract 30 speakers from an elite group of experts and specialists in the field of aviation, space, air cargo, logistics, maintenance, repair and overhaul, in addition to the most prominent figures in the technology industry and academics, which reflects the The wide range of topics will be covered by the Future of Aviation Week sessions, within a packed agenda that promises to provide insightful discussion sessions and unique insights, as well as interactive workshops that delve into topics that constitute a top priority for the future of our industry.”

For his part, Khalfan Juma Belhoul, CEO of the Dubai Future Foundation, stressed that this event will provide an important platform to review the latest current developments and future opportunities in the aviation sector, and will contribute to exchanging experiences and surviving practices, unifying visions and efforts to design the future of this important sector, and supporting the use of advanced technology to enhance Efficiency of services and development of aviation sector growth strategies in the short and long term.

First day

The first day of Future of Aviation Week highlights the passenger journey and operational challenges in light of strong global travel demand. His Excellency Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy, will deliver the opening speech of the event, followed by a keynote speech from His Excellency Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Commerce. The second discussion session includes Khalifa Al Zaffin, CEO of Dubai Aviation City Corporation; Ayman Abu Ababa, CEO of Riyadh Airports; Server Aydin, Head of Digital and Commercial Services at Istanbul International Airport; Omar Bin Adi, Chief Technology and Infrastructure Officer at Dubai Airports; and Nicolas Vandable, Executive Vice President of Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, where they will discuss how to modernize airport infrastructure and the next wave of future technologies.

Participants will also learn about the future of aircraft cabins and on-board connectivity from the CEOs of Recaro, Thales, Panasonic Avionics and Viasat.

The second day

The second day of the Future Aviation Week activities will address the latest developments in the field of air cargo, logistics, maintenance, repair and overhaul in the region. The day will begin with a dialogue session with Khalfan Juma Belhoul, who will highlight the key role of the Dubai Future Foundation in leading the future of aviation and logistics services in Dubai, followed by A panel discussion focusing on the dynamic global landscape of freight and logistics, factors influencing demand, as well as digital transformation, featuring Nadeem Sultan, Emirates Sky Cargo Senior Vice President for Planning; Ram Menen, founding team member at Emirates SkyCargo; Hamdi Othman, Chairman and CEO of Solitaire Group.

Speakers from Rolls-Royce, GE Aviation, Safran, GAMCO and Joramco will discuss ongoing efforts to enhance the accuracy and effectiveness of maintenance, repair and overhaul in the region through next-generation technologies.

The third day

The third and final day will address the emerging potential of Web3, AI and extended reality technologies to enhance workflow efficiency and improve service delivery to industry. The first panel discussion will explore customer feedback strategies using automation and leveraging insights to make informed, data-driven decisions to improve service levels. Senior executives leading the digital and creative teams at Vision Box, Etihad Airways, Emirates Skywards and Avis Budget Group will discuss how to expand The scope of their customer experience strategies.

The final session will include academics from Manchester Metropolitan University, as well as Microsoft Solutions and Emirates Human Resources Management officials, to share their experiences and highlight potential use cases around combining the power of extended reality and generative artificial intelligence to simplify aviation workflows.
