He added, “In conjunction with the tenth anniversary of the Dubai Tram, we directed the Authority to study the implementation of the (Tram Without Tracks) project in 8 locations in the emirate, which is a self-driving and environmentally friendly system that runs on electrical energy.”

In recent years, Dubai has witnessed a significant increase in the number of expatriates seeking to benefit from job opportunities, high salaries, low taxes, safety, and proximity to major markets. About 400,000 people have arrived in the emirate since 2020, so the city currently contains about 3.8 million people, and the number is expected to rise. To 5.8 million by 2040, according to a report recently published by Bloomberg.
