Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University discussed with Al Bayan newspaper prospects for joint cooperation, expanding its areas, issues of interest to both parties, and capacity building, with the aim of enhancing sustainable development and achieving leadership in the fields of innovation and development.
This came during the newspaper’s visit to the university’s headquarters in Dubai International Academic City, where Dr. Mansour Al Awar, President of the University, received the newspaper’s delegation headed by Hamed Bin Karam, Editor-in-Chief of Al Bayan newspaper, and stressed the depth of the relationship that links the university with community institutions in various fields, especially the media.
The meeting began with an introductory session in which the two sides reviewed areas of joint cooperation. The university also presented an overview of its new strategy. The two parties agreed to keep communication channels open to enhance and develop the relationship between the newspaper and the university. The visit also highlighted the exchange of knowledge, which contributes to advancing the process of development and progress in the media and academic fields.
For its part, the newspaper delegation appreciated the efforts of Hamdan Smart University and its prominent and distinguished role in the academic, research and community fields, pointing out that the visit embodies the newspaper’s commitment to strengthening strategic partnerships that drive innovation and encourage growth within the main sectors in Dubai.
The delegation stressed the newspaper’s efforts to deepen these partnerships in line with its convictions of complementary relations between media institutions and academic institutions, especially Hamdan Smart University, which has taken it upon itself to spread the culture of quality and scientific research, by adopting smart education based on leading innovation in order to engineer the future of education in a way that achieves progress for individuals and institutions.
In turn, Dr. Mansour Al Awar appreciated the visit of the newspaper delegation, stressing the university’s keenness to strengthen and support the bonds of joint cooperation in a way that contributes to serving individuals, institutions and society. He also stressed the university’s readiness to enhance this cooperation in a way that serves the goals of both parties.
