Cyprus is among the top seven EU countries in the recycling of packaging, having reached 70 per cent recycling, while the target for 2025 is 65 per cent, Green Dot announced on Monday.
Green Dot said Cyprus is following the Belgian model and has made a lot of progress in meeting EU goals.
It added that Cyprus’ performance creates prospects for even better results in the future, which will be beneficial for the economy and the environment.
