GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — A crash involving injuries is causing a closure on Interstate 40 in Greensboro on Monday morning.
All lanes of I-40 East between South Elm-Eugene Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive are closed as a result of the crash.
According to the Greensboro Police Department, there are injuries due to the crash.
Traffic in the area is currently being diverted onto South Elm-Eugene Street. However, police are asking drivers to avoid the area if possible.
There is no word as to what caused the crash at this time.
