Friday will be partly cloudy with rains and isolated storms expected, initially on the coast and later spreading to the rest of the island. Hail is also forecast. Temperatures will rise to 24C in the interior and the coasts, and 14C the higher mountains. Winds will be mainly south-easterly to south-westerly, light to moderate, up to 4 Beaufort, however, during storms winds will intensify. The sea will be rough.
Overnight increased clouds are expected to bring more showers, mainly on the north coast. During the early hours, light mist or fog are likely, inland and in the east. Temperatures will drop to 13C in the interior, 16C on the coasts, and 8C in the higher mountains. Winds will turn mainly north-westerly to north-easterly, and on the north coast, south-easterly, weak, 3 Beaufort. The sea will be calm to slightly rough.
A cold air mass with strong and gusty winds is expected to move in over the weekend with rains forecast from late Saturday night through Sunday morning. The phenomena will start in the west and north and progress to the rest of the island, with a chance of snow in the higher mountains.
Similar conditions are forecast for the rest of Sunday and Monday, when snow is also expected to fall. Temperatures will drop noticeably reaching below average for the season.
