COATESVILLE — Thursday afternoon a school bus from the Coatesville Area School District was reportedly struck by a gunshot.
None of the children on the bus or the driver were hurt, according to a social media post by the Chester County District Attorney’s Office.
Few details were made available. The Coatesville Police Department is conducting an investigation, and the Chester County Detectives are providing assistance.
“No child should be subjected to gunfire on a school bus,” the D.A.s Office stated. “This is an active, high priority investigation”
