PIEDMONT TRIAD, N.C. (WGHP) — It’s going to be an unseasonably warm start to the work week, with temperatures running 7-10 degrees above normal.
A powerful storm is developing in the Great Plains in the next couple of days. As it approaches, we’ll have warm breezes pushing temperatures into the upper-60s to near 70° today through Wednesday. Clouds will be gradually increasing through the middle of the week and by Wednesday, we will have a 40% chance of showers.
There are two cold fronts coming through, so get ready for BIG changes as we get to the end of the week. While the weather will be dry behind the double-barrel cold fronts, temperatures are going to be sharply cooler, with highs in the lower-50’s Thursday and Friday. Highs will climb into the mid-50s with lows in the mid-30s through the weekend.
