Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi told his Lebanese counterpart, Abdullah Bou Habib, on Monday that China “Strongly supports Lebanon in protecting its security and sovereignty.”
Beijing also strongly condemned the violations, after large-scale Israeli air strikes on Lebanon.
Wang stressed that China will continue to work for the peace process in The Middle East.
