China has strongly supported Lebanon after it was hit by violent Israeli attacks that killed hundreds and injured more than 1,600 people on Monday.
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi told the Lebanese foreign minister on Monday that China strongly supports Lebanon in safeguarding its security and sovereignty, and strongly condemns the violations after the large-scale Israeli airstrike.
