CBS Sports and entertainment tech company Cosm have reached a distribution deal in time for Sunday’s Kansas City Chiefs vs. Buffalo Bills game to air in Cosm’s “shared reality” venues.
Fans in Dallas and Los Angeles will be able to watch Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen on Cosm’s 87-foot curved screen that blends movie theater and sports bar experiences.

CBS’ Thanksgiving game—Chicago at Detroit—will also air in the centers as the tie-up continues through the rest of the regular season. The two sides could also partner on future CBS properties such as March Madness and the Masters.
Cosm uses TV feed cameras as well as custom lenses to capture the action. It has already announced deals for primetime NFL games shown on NBC, ESPN and Prime Video, as well as access to Fox’s pro and college football slate. Reserved seating for Thursday Night’s Commanders-Eagles game is already sold out at both locations.
With all of the NFL partners now on board, Cosm has the opportunity to offer a complete football feast on Thanksgiving for those looking to indulge that way—with or without family members. Fans can even come back for Prime Video’s Black Friday game.
Cosm is continuing to expand its reach, with new venues coming to Atlanta and Detroit while the company considers additional sites.
“We’ve got tens of real estate conversations going on around the world,” Cosm CEO Jeb Terry recently said in an interview. “Our ambition to really scale this business—that’s really the opportunity.”
The Cosm connection is one of several ways CBS is amplifying its marquee Sunday showdown, with The NFL Today crew doing rare on-site work this weekend as well. The last two regular season meetings between the AFC powerhouses each eclipsed 25 million average viewers. Thirty-second ad buys for the event sold for close to $1 million.
