Boyertown to transform into Boo-yertown this October

Boyertown will undergo a frightfully fun transformation this October, becoming a Halloween destination. To celebrate the town’s spooky spirit, Boyertown will unofficially change its name to Boo-yertown for the month.

As the home of one of the oldest ongoing Halloween parades in the country, Boyertown has a rich history of celebrating the spooky season. Visitors can immerse themselves in the town’s haunted heritage through various activities, according to an announcement from Boo-yertown, PA which has created a Facebook page dedicated to Halloween-themed events in Boyertown.

For those seeking a more interactive experience, zombies will take over Boo-yertown, providing a terrifying encounter for thrill-seekers. Hosted by Boo-yertown and Stellar House Gift Shop, the Monster Meet and Greet held at Downtown Boyertown businesses from 6 to 8 p.m. on Oct. 11 will allow visitors to meet monsters from their favorite scary movies. This is a free event.
