Body identified as British resident

A 70-year-old found dead in the sea last week in Limassol was identified as a British permanent resident.

She has serious health problems, a post-mortem showed on Monday.

An announcement said in addition to the health problems, she has also been dealing with dementia.

The body had been found at 6.30am on Friday at the Dasoudi beach in Limassol.

An ambulance took her to Limassol General, where doctors pronounced her dead.
