Offense: Attempted ATM theft
Date and time: Nov. 2 at about 2;20 a.m.
Location: ATM in Dunkin Donuts parking lot at 1121 Memorial Highway, Oley Township
Police synopsis: Central Berks police are investigating an attempted theft of an ATM. Officers responding to an alarm discovered a running front-end loader and a heavily damaged brick building containing an Truist ATM machine. The front-end loader was stolen from Gotwals Mulch and Stone. As of this writing, there are no known suspects or witnesses.
