A teenager and three men have been arrested following the discovery of more than 100 batteries suspected to have been stolen from telecoms boxes.
Police traced a vehicle suspected to be used in the thefts, which have taken place around the South East, to a location in Gillingham on Monday (October 7).
Cables, the vehicle itself, a trailer, a vehicle engine and power tools were also seized as part of the investigation.
A 14-year-old boy and three men, aged between 37 and 57, have been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to steal and bailed while inquiries continue.
