It is alleged to have happened between 4pm and 4.15pm on Saturday, September 28, in woodland between Cabbage Stalk Lane and The Pantiles Car Park on Eridge Road.

Officers are now appealing for the public’s help to trace the suspect.

The man is described as being southern European, aged between 25-40 and around 5ft 10ins with a slim build.

He had no facial hair and was wearing a plain black, tight-fitting sports jacket with a hood.

The jacket zipper was done up so the collar met his chin and he wore the hood up to cover his face.

He was also wearing dark-coloured, cargo trousers with pockets on either side of the legs and light-coloured trainers with white soles.

It is the second incident that has been reported in Tunbridge Wells this week. Police released an appeal on Wednesday (October 30) after two teenagers witnessed a man “committing an indecent act” near Nevill Park.

Anyone with information regarding the incident at Hungershall Park is urged to call the West Kent appeals line on 01622 604100, quoting reference 46/164676/24.

Drivers with dashcams, who were in the area near the time of the incident, are also asked to check for relevant footage.
