Airlines are rushing to divert their flights after the Iranian attack

A spokesman for flight tracker Flight Radar 24 said flights had been diverted “to any available destination.”

A snapshot of air traffic in the region showed that the planes were traveling in wide arcs north and south, with many of them being diverted to Cairo and Istanbul.

The Flight Radar 24 service on the X website noted, “It will take some time before air traffic returns to its activity again.”
