Abu Dhabi Judicial Department issues a decision to fine 3 private notaries 50 thousand dirhams

The Private Notary Affairs Committee of the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department issued a decision to fine 3 private notaries for not complying with the laws, decisions and instructions regulating the profession, with a total fine of 50 thousand dirhams.

This came during the meeting chaired by His Excellency Counselor Yousef Saeed Al Abri, Undersecretary of the Judicial Department in Abu Dhabi, where the committee approved the request to complete the licensing of an office to practice the profession of private notary public, as well as the request to register a private notary public, and the request to renew the registration of a government notary public. The committee also reviewed the transaction statistics and the results of the survey during the first half of this year, which showed that the percentage of customer satisfaction with the services reached 92%.

The committee held its meeting under the chairmanship of the Undersecretary of the Judicial Department, and the membership of Yousef Hassan Al Hosani, Executive Director of the Judicial Support Sector, Abdullah Saif Zahran, Director of the Strategic Planning and Institutional Development Department, Mohammed Hisham Al Rafei, Legal Expert, and Khaled Salem Al Tamimi, Head of the Private Notary Public Department.
