His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Moussa Faki Mohammed, Chairman of the African Union Commission, on the sidelines of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
During the meeting, they discussed UAE-African relations and ways to develop them and develop areas of cooperation, in a way that supports the common interests of both sides.
His Highness and Musa Faki Muhammad also exchanged views on a number of files of common interest and all regional and international issues.
During the meeting, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed the UAE’s keenness to consolidate positive and constructive development partnerships with the friendly countries of the African continent, and to develop prospects for cooperation in many vital fields, especially economic ones, in a way that meets its aspirations for comprehensive and sustainable development.
