Dubai Cyber ​​Security Center strengthens its global leadership during the Wilton Park Forum

The Dubai Cyber ​​Security Center concluded its participation in the Global Forum for Enhancing Cyber ​​Competencies, which was held in Wilton Park in the United Kingdom, in the presence of representatives from 13 countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, the European Union, Australia, Canada, and Japan, in addition to international organizations such as the Forum. World Economist and the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development.

The forum discussed ways to enhance global cyber competencies and develop new professional standards to address the growing challenges in the cybersecurity sector and the best ways to develop the cybersecurity workforce and raise the level of professional skills.

The forum was in line with proposals presented by the Dubai Cyber ​​Security Center at the World Economic Forum, calling for unifying cyber licenses worldwide.

The Dubai Cyber ​​Security Center participated in two keynote speeches that highlighted Dubai’s pioneering model in enhancing cyber competencies and talents capable of protecting digital security and infrastructure. The Center also presented a proposal for a unified global system for cyber licensing aimed at improving global coordination in this field.

His Excellency Yousef Hamad Al Shaibani, Head of Cybersecurity for the Emirate of Dubai, said: Our participation in the forum strengthens Dubai’s position as a global leader in digital transformation and cybersecurity, and confirms the emirate’s commitment to achieving its strategic goals to build a diverse and competitive knowledge economy on a global level.

Dr. Bushra Al Balushi, Director of Governance and Risk Management at the Centre, said that efforts are continuing to enhance international cooperation to confront cyber challenges and develop the digital defense capabilities of the Emirate of Dubai in partnership with national and international competencies.

In continuation of Dubai’s pioneering role, the Dubai Cyber ​​Security Center is strengthening its international presence, stressing the importance of cooperation with strategic partners around the world to support a secure digital environment and contribute to sustainable development.
