– Women’s health
The Sheikha Fatima Fund for Refugee Women is organizing the international conference, “Refugee Women’s Health in Light of Climate Change,” in the capital, Abu Dhabi, early next October.
The conference discusses a number of topics, including health care strategies in areas affected by climate change, empowering women in refugee health management, innovative solutions and mental health support in areas affected by climate change.
– Data and community development
Sharjah will host the activities of the first session of the “Regional Forum for Data and Community Development” on October 9 and 10, which will discuss various topics including the role of data in developing infrastructure, enhancing sustainability, anticipating the future of the labor market, and improving the quality of life, with the participation of more than 100 speakers from several countries. .
-Green economy
An elite group of the most prominent international experts and speakers will participate in the tenth session of the World Green Economy Summit, which will be held on October 2 and 3 at the Dubai World Trade Center, along with representatives of governments, international organizations and academic institutions.
This year, the summit focuses on a set of main topics, including decarbonisation, achieving climate neutrality goals, advancing clean energy, climate finance, the circular economy, policies and regulatory frameworks, using technology to confront climate change, youth and climate action, and food and water.
– African dialogue
On October 31, the country will host a new edition of “The Africa Debate” forum, organized by the Ministry of Economy in cooperation with Invest Africa, a trade network aimed at promoting trade and investment on the African continent.

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority is organizing the 26th edition of the Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition “WETEX” from October 1 to October 3, 2024 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
The exhibition highlights cybersecurity technologies and trends and the latest technologies, systems and programs related to artificial intelligence governance, predicting cyber risks, security of information systems and networks, enhancing around-the-clock incident response, and protecting personal data.
– Sustainability in accounting
The Emirates Society of Accountants and Auditors, in cooperation with the International Federation of Accountants, will host the Sustainability in Accounting and Auditing Conference for the Middle East and North Africa region, during the period from 22 to 24 October next at the Park Hyatt Hotel – Dubai.
The conference will provide a vital platform that brings together international and regional experts to discuss the latest sustainability disclosure standards and how to align these standards with the region’s requirements.

From October 7 to 8, the Dubai World Trade Center will host the largest session of the “AgraME” exhibition and conference, which attracts more than 6,000 decision makers from more than 180 countries, and includes more than 150 exhibitors displaying the latest innovations in the fields of agriculture, horticulture, vertical farming and agricultural… Aquaculture and livestock health.
– Sharjah Film Festival
The 11th edition of the Sharjah International Film Festival for Children and Youth will screen 98 films from 28 countries during the period from 6 to 12 October.

– International forum
The Sharjah Private Education Authority and the Sharjah Education Academy are organizing the third edition of the International Forum for Arabic Teachers, “Growth and Belonging,” on October 5 and 6.
