Showers and falling temps, windy at times

Monday will see locally increased clouds at times bringing a chance of isolated showers, mainly in the west and north and later in the east. Temperatures will rise to 32C in the interior, 29C on the west coast, 30C on the remaining coasts, and 24C in the higher mountains. Winds will initially be variable and light, 3 Beaufort, gradually turning mainly south- to north-westerly, light to moderate, up to 4 Beaufort, and up to 5 Beaufort on the windward coast. The sea will be rough.

Overnight isolated showers remain possible in the west and north. Temperatures will drop to 17C in the interior, 19C on the coasts, and 14C in the higher mountains. Winds will continue south-to north-westerly, light to moderate, up to 4 Beaufort, and transiently strong, up to 5 Beaufort. The sea to the south and east will be slightly rough, while on the west and north coasts, it will be rough.

On Tuesday rains are forecast in the west and north during the morning hours, while later in the day showers in the highlands and the southeast are expected. Temperatures are expected to drop, especially in the interior and in the mountains.

Wednesday and Thursday will start off mostly clear, with isolated mountain rains expected in the afternoon. Temperatures will hold steady, at or slightly below the seasonal norm.
