To lead its forces north of Khartoum, and although the army did not disclose the course of the battles around the refinery, platforms on social media announced the army’s control of the important site, which sparked a wave of celebrations in the states and cities under the army’s control, and among refugees in some neighboring countries. .

Military plan

Military sources confirmed to Al-Bayan that the battles taking place in the capital, Khartoum, since last Thursday, including the Al-Jili refinery area, are still continuing and are proceeding according to a precise military plan drawn up by the army command to restore the areas controlled by the Rapid Support Forces. The sources added: “The operation is in its infancy and has achieved important field results over the past few days and will continue.”

On the other hand, the Rapid Support Forces said in a statement that they inflicted heavy losses on the army and were able to eliminate a force after it attempted to penetrate through the Al-Jili axis, north of the capital. However, the statement did not refer to the fate of the refinery, which remained an important focus of battles throughout the war, and the focus on it increased. More recently, due to its position controlling the course of battles in the capital, Khartoum, on the one hand, and its proximity to the Nile River state in the north of the country.
