A 58-year-old man was found dead on Saturday under his car in Kolossi.
Relatives had gone looking for him when Andreas Nicolaou did not return home from his field.
They eventually found him at 4am on Saturday at the edge of the field under his car.
British bases police are investigating the incident.
Initial investigations say the death appears to be an accident, but an autopsy is expected to shed more light on the case.
