Yesterday morning, His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Sharjah Media Council, laid the foundation stone for the Al-Rih Al-Mursalah Dispensary and the Drinking Water Network projects, which are sponsored by the Sharjah Broadcasting and Television Authority in cooperation with the Sharjah Charitable Society, in October Village in the Republic of… Kyrgyzstan.

His Highness stressed the importance of charitable work and humanitarian projects to extend a helping hand to the needy and sick around the world, by launching various charitable projects, noting that the UAE, and the Emirate of Sharjah in particular, is committed to this role, which comes in accordance with the directives and vision of the wise leadership aimed at providing a stable, healthy life. And safe for everyone in the world.

His Highness pointed out that laying the “foundation stones” is an extension of the series of charitable projects that were started in the Egyptian Aswan Governorate last July, stressing that His Highness stressed that the therapeutic charitable campaigns will continue in other countries and regions.

His Highness explained that the goal of these medical charitable campaigns is to provide health care and therapeutic services to be enjoyed by needy individuals who are unable to bear the medical expenses and costs, in addition to delivering charitable aid and donations from generous people to those who deserve it through the official authorities in the country. His Highness thanked the donors and contributors to various charitable campaigns and programmes, who are part of the treatment support that hospitals provide to those in need, with their generous donations through charitable programmes. Upon his arrival, His Highness the Chairman of the Sharjah Media Council planted seedlings at the site of the Al-Rih Al-Marsala Clinic, laying the foundation stone for the clinic, and then inspected the accompanying exhibition, which includes plans and information about the new building, which is located on a total area of ​​350 square meters.

It includes several specialties, including: general medicine, consultant doctors, and radiology, in addition to obstetrics and gynecology clinics and medical laboratories. His Highness listened to a detailed explanation about the steps for constructing the new dispensary building, which will serve 14,000 beneficiaries from the residents of the region and its surroundings. His Highness learned about the replacement and renovation processes and increasing the absorptive capacity and the number of medical departments and specialties, which aims to provide health care to the people of the region, and medical facilities to serve the population density, Saving effort, money and various specialized medical services. His Highness then moved to the site of the drinking water network in the October area, which aims to cover the entire area.

In addition to reducing the spread of diseases caused by contaminated water and reducing residents’ suffering in bringing potable water from distant areas. His Highness laid the foundation stone for the new drinking water network, which includes a water extension network with an artesian well 15,000 meters long, and a water tank with a capacity of 21,000 gallons, in addition to establishing modern extensions to 700 homes benefiting 4,000 people, and two distribution points serving passers-by in the area.
