Flights from Warsaw to Larnaca airport carried out by LOT Polish Airlines resumed on Monday, with regular air connections
A statement from LOT Airlines said that “the inaugural flight to Larnaca took off on October 28 at 10:40 in the morning from Warsaw’s Chopin Airport. LOT Polish Airlines has resumed regular air connections between Warsaw and Larnaca”.
It added that “at a ceremony held at Chopin Airport, attended by Andrzej Ilków, chairman of the board of directors of Polish Airports (Polskie Porty Lotnicze) and Robert Ludera, director of the Polish Airlines LOT connectivity network office, among others, passengers started their flight to Larnaca, which lasted 3.5 hours.”
Flights on the WAW-LCA route will operate four times a week: Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday during the winter season. The frequency of flights will increase to six times a week, except Tuesdays, during the summer season.
Robert Ludera, said that “as LOT Polish Airlines, we are well aware of the attractiveness of the Larnaca destination. Data from the Cyprus Statistical Service shows that in 2023 Poland was the third largest market in terms of the number of tourists visiting Cyprus.”
