His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, continued his meetings with American officials, as part of his official visit to the United States, which focused on the strategic relations between the two countries.
His Highness met with Gina Raimondo, US Secretary of Commerce, and discussed the development of bilateral relations and the importance of investing in artificial intelligence and advanced technologies. During meetings with members of Congress, he said that the two countries are bound by friendly relations and a strategic alliance that Congress has played – and continues to play – a fundamental role in strengthening.
He stressed that his visit comes within the framework of the joint keenness to advance cooperation and bilateral work paths to advance these relations, especially in the economy, trade, investment, confronting climate change, artificial intelligence and renewable energy. He said that the United States is a major ally, and this is a fundamental direction in our foreign policy that has not changed for more than 50 years.
He pointed out the interest the UAE attaches to dialogue with the United States regarding the Middle East and finding diplomatic solutions to its crises.
