The cause of death of a police cadet who died in a traffic accident on Friday was on Sunday given as a severe head injury.
The 22-year-old cadet was named as Costas Demetriou.
On Friday night while he was riding his motorbike on Ayios Gennadios street in Archangelos, Nicosia he lost control of it at some point and was thrown onto the pavement.
On Sunday morning an autopsy was carried out by state pathologists Angeliki Papetta and Orthodoxos Orthodoxou during which they concluded the head wound sustained in the traffic accident had killed him.
