His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, and Her Excellency Kamala Harris, Vice President of the United States of America, discussed the long-standing strategic relations between the UAE and the United States, and the development witnessed by these relations over the past years, especially in the development fields and joint work to enhance and push them forward in the fields of economy, trade, technology, energy, climate and others.
This came during the meeting of His Highness the President of the State with the US Vice President today at the White House, as part of His Highness’s official visit to the United States of America.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Kamala Harris reviewed a number of regional and international issues of common interest. In this context, His Highness the President of the State stressed that the UAE believes that peace in the region is in everyone’s interest and is the path to achieving development and progress for all its peoples, and supports any effort or move in this regard.
His Highness expressed his appreciation for the role played by Her Excellency Kamala Harris over the past years in strengthening UAE-US relations and enhancing cooperation in dealing with common global issues, most notably energy, climate change, development, and others.
The two sides stressed that relations between the UAE and the United States will continue to develop and strengthen thanks to the mutual commitment to developing them and expanding their horizons within the framework of the common values ​​and orientations of the two friendly countries.
