Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination, the “World Rehabilitation Conference 2024” was launched today, Monday, in Abu Dhabi, under the slogan “Work and Employment”, to address the challenges and barriers facing people of determination in the labor market and raise awareness of their rights and capabilities in the development process.
The conference will continue until September 25 at the ADNEC Abu Dhabi Centre, organised by the Zayed Higher Organisation for People of Determination, the International Rehabilitation Organisation and the International Social Security Association.
The current edition of the conference, which is being held for the first time in the Middle East, aims to improve the quality of life for people of determination and identify distinguished individuals who lead change, innovation and empowerment in the field of rehabilitation, with the attendance and participation of about 500 people from more than 70 countries, including a group of leaders and officials from sectors concerned with this field.
