Book taxis in Dubai through WhatsApp

T + T – Normal size

Dubai has developed pioneering services aimed at providing maximum convenience to its visitors and residents. Hala has launched a new service that enables customers to book their rides easily via WhatsApp. The launch of the service comes as part of the ongoing commitment to adopting modern technologies to enhance the customer experience and facilitate mobility in the city. The new service allows Dubai residents and visitors to book taxis via WhatsApp, using an advanced chatbot that seamlessly manages booking requests.

The booking process begins via WhatsApp by sending the word “Hi” to 800HALATAXI – 80042528294, where the chatbot requests the passenger’s location to complete the booking and sends a trip confirmation, including the captain’s details and the expected time of arrival. The service also offers real-time trip tracking, and sharing the tracking link with friends and family, to ensure safety and convenience. The service is available 24/7, providing customers with maximum booking flexibility. It offers a variety of payment options, including cash or card payment upon arrival. In addition to the WhatsApp booking option, booking via the Careem app continues to be available, ensuring a smooth and convenient booking experience.

Commenting on the launch of the service, Khaled Nuseibeh, CEO of Hala, said: “We are delighted to expand our customer engagement channels by launching the WhatsApp booking service, making the booking process faster and easier. As one of the most widely used messaging apps in the world, WhatsApp allows us to reach a wider audience and engage with more users in Dubai. This development reflects our commitment to enhancing the daily commuting experience for our customers by adding this direct and simple platform.”
