The guests of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, from researchers and orientalists participating in the Second Sharjah International Conference on Arabic Language Studies in Europe, were briefed on the role of the Holy Quran Academy and its mission based on Quranic studies and research, the Sharjah International Electronic Recitation Hall, and the Quranic Museums that introduce the Book of Allah, its sciences, and its preservation of the Arabic language, and consolidate Sharjah’s civilized and cultural status. They praised His Highness’s efforts and vision in supporting, teaching, and spreading Arabic culture and language.
This came during a visit yesterday by 23 researchers and orientalists from 13 European countries to the Holy Quran Complex. They were received by His Excellency Abdullah Khalaf Al Hosani, its Secretary General, who stressed that these visits aim to learn about the role of the Complex and its scientific projects of qualitative value, and contribute to highlighting the cognitive, civilizational and humanitarian role and introducing the role of the Holy Quran and its sciences.
His Excellency accompanied the researchers and orientalists on a tour of the complex’s halls, during which he gave them a detailed explanation of the complex and the role of studies and research that the complex places at the forefront of its priorities and contributes to teaching and spreading the Arabic language, such as the Encyclopedia of Rhetorical Interpretation, and the methods of individual readings, in addition to the Qur’anic museums through which researchers learn about the history of writing the Holy Qur’an, its rarities and manuscripts, and everything related to the science of readings.
The guests of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, including researchers and orientalists, expressed their admiration for this intellectual edifice, which constitutes a distinctive cultural landmark within the human intellectual heritage.
