The death toll from floods caused by Cyclone Yagi that hit Myanmar has risen to 384.
The media team of the ruling military council in Myanmar said that 89 other people are still missing as a result of the floods caused by the cyclone.
For its part, the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) announced today that up to 887,000 people were affected in Myanmar in the wake of Cyclone Yagi, noting that the destruction caused by the cyclone and flooding affected homes, water sources, electricity infrastructure, roads, bridges, communications networks, schools, public service facilities, crops and agricultural lands, which in turn were severely damaged.
