Coffee shop chain Costa is set to move into a former tapas restaurant at a retail park where it already has another branch.
The cafe giant has had plans approved for its new signage at the old Rico Sabor unit in St James Retail Park in Dover.
It already has one store inside Next and the existing standalone branch next door to Card Factory.
Bosses have confirmed it will stay inside the clothing shop but did not say if the other cafe will remain open.
A spokesman for the chain said: “We can confirm that a Costa Coffee store is planned for St James Retail Park in Dover and is due to open end of November 2024.
“We will be sharing more details in due course.”
Rico Sabor closed in February 2023 after the landlord terminated the lease.
Posted on the door of the site was a forfeiture notice, meaning the landlord claimed back the property and terminated the lease of the tenant.
Another Costa is set to open in Dover in the near future.
Work is underway for a drive-thru on land off the A20, which formerly housed large warehouse buildings.
It is expected to welcome customers later this year.
The company also has a fourth branch in the town’s main high street and two stands housed within the ferry port terminal buildings.
