The meeting highlighted DP World’s ongoing commitment to infrastructure development in Senegal, particularly its US$1 billion investment in the construction of the new Ndayane Port. This landmark project will transform Senegal into a major gateway for trade in West Africa, generating jobs, boosting economic growth and providing easy access to goods. In addition, DP World has invested US$300 million in upgrading the container terminal at the Port of Dakar, which the company operates, significantly increasing the port’s capacity, with the terminal handling 800,000 TEUs in 2023.
