Russia’s Defense Ministry said on Monday that air defense systems destroyed eight Ukrainian drones over Russia’s Belgorod region overnight.
The ministry said in a statement: “Last night, an attempt by the Kiev regime to carry out a terrorist attack using drones on targets in the territory of the Russian Federation was thwarted,” according to the Russian Sputnik News Agency.
“Eight Ukrainian drones were destroyed by air defense systems operating over the territory of the Belgorod region,” she added.
