Field changes in Aleppo…the return of escalation

SDF and the regime… shifting balances
Regarding the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), Perry confirms that its position is characterized by confusion as a result of regional and international pressures.
He added: “SDF finds itself trapped between the Syrian government and Turkish threats. The alliance with Washington no longer provides the same momentum as before, which forces it to reevaluate its strategies.”
As for Salha, he draws attention to the fact that any alliance between the SDF and the Syrian government may raise sensitivity among regional players, especially Turkey, which considers these forces a direct threat to its national security.
Damascus options… between federalism and demographic change
Talk about federalism as a political solution began to surface with increasing calls to resolve the Syrian conflict through restructuring governance. Perry believes that the demographic change taking place in the northern regions is part of a Turkish plan to remove the Kurdish population from their original areas.
