Israeli raids against Hezbollah in southern Lebanon

The army said in a statement, “Terrorist activity and movement of a mobile missile platform belonging to Hezbollah was detected in southern Lebanon. The threat was thwarted through an air strike by an Air Force aircraft.”

The statement was attached to a video clip showing an aerial bombardment of what was likely a missile launching pad placed on the back of a slowly moving truck, and fire erupting in it after the bombing.

Meanwhile, he announced Israeli armyHis stay in southern Lebanon, contrary to what was supposed under the cessation of fighting agreement with Hezbollah.

He said in a statement, “Since the ceasefire agreement entered into force, the Israeli army has continued to be present in southern Lebanon in order to preserve the safety of the State of Israel and its residents.”

After the ceasefire agreement entered into force on Wednesday morning, questions arose about when the Israeli army would begin withdrawing from its positions south of Lebanon.

According to the terms of the agreement, Israel will gradually withdraw its forces over a period of 60 days, with the Lebanese army controlling the lands near the border with Israel, to ensure that Hezbollah does not build its infrastructure there again.

The agreement stipulates that the military presence in the south be limited to the Lebanese army and United Nations peacekeeping forces, and that Hezbollah withdraw with its weapons until north of the Litani River, located about 30 kilometers away.
