Back for its annual December shows is the Nicosia Youth Ballet. This year it will present the Double Bill ballet performance featuring excerpts from the classic ballet Paquita in the first half and in the second half, Interplay, an original neoclassical piece choreographed by Valentino Zucchetti, First Soloist and choreographer at The Royal Ballet of London.
The performances will take place at the Nicosia Municipal Theatre on December 21 and 22 at 8pm and ticket sales have already begun on www.ticketmaster.cy
The evening will open with the timeless elegance of Paquita, a celebrated ballet full of grace, precision and wonderful variations. Following Paquita, the audience will be treated to a new work – Interplay. This neoclassical ballet, created specifically for Nicosia Youth Ballet, blends the beauty of classical technique with contemporary movement, offering a fresh and innovative experience for ballet lovers.
This unique creation by Valentino Zucchetti will be showcased through powerful, intricate choreography highlighting the extraordinary talent and versatility of Nicosia Youth Ballet’s dancers and combining the Music of R Schumann with the musicality of the classical movement.
