In celebration of another successful year of eight classical music concerts, Technopolis 20 Classics will close the season with a special December concert with the all-female Amalgamation Choir. The acapella ensemble will travel to Paphos for an enchanting evening of song on December 13.
The choir will present a special performance exploring the transformative essence of clay through the power of group singing. The group of women invite the audience on a journey through the elements that breathe life into clay: soil, water and air.
“Each element plays a vital role in shaping and transforming clay, just as these forces influence our own human experiences. Through songs of love, despair, hope and gratitude, Amalgamation explores how these three essential elements can mirror growth, resilience and transformation in our lives,” say organisers.
The upcoming performance at Technopolis 20 is expected to be an inspiring evening of music and transformation, led by the choir’s founder and conductor Vasiliki Anastasiou.
The Choir has already performed extensively around the island but also abroad including at Westminster Abbey which was broadcast live on BBC, on the occasion of Commonwealth Day 2023, the House of Commons for Commonwealth Day 2023 and EU Commission’s Christmas celebrations in Sweden.
