A 32-year-old was sentenced to 12 years in prison on Wednesday for importing and possessing 1.26kg of methamphetamine.
Larnaca criminal court heard that the drugs were found in the man’s luggage on arrival at Larnaca airport in September 2023.
The meth was packaged in nine plastic bags, which were hidden in three wooden trays.
Larnaca’s drug squad investigated the case.
