GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a homicide victim found in Greensboro.
The unidentified man was first seen by a fisherman on an embankment of Lake Townsend, not in the water, around 12:30 p.m. on Monday, and police say he had injuries “consistent” with being shot.
Yanceyville Road was shut down for several hours while police investigated.
The victim is described by police as a Black man in his late teens to mid-to-late 20s. He died wearing a red zip-up hoodie, dark sweatpants and slide-style shoes.
