Three people who were in a car crash involving five vehicles near the Oroklini exit on the Larnaca-Famagusta motorway have been taken to Larnaca general hospital for examinations.
The accident happened on Tuesday at around 3.30pm and queues built up at the exit.
Police said the motorway to Famagusta has been closed near the Oroklini exit and traffic is being diverted to the hard shoulder, as the five cars are blocking both lanes of the motorway.
Motorists are urged to drive carefully within the speed limit and keep a safe distance from vehicles ahead.
