Tom Hylton’s article on “Who Poisoned Politics” was puzzling. He mentioned that Republicans don’t act too nice when it comes to dealing with Democrats. Has he ever heard the names Pelosi, Schumer, Schiff, Obama, and Hilary? Pelosi could not have been any nastier than she was when Trump was elected and threatened to get him from day one. Tom, where have you been?
President Biden and VP Kamala Harris want credit, because the Israeli Defense Forces killed the Hamas terrorist leader, Yahya Sinwar, in Rafah. I guess Biden and Harris forgot that they threatened to withhold weapons from Israel if they invaded Rafah or that they were pushing for a cease-fire agreement that would have allowed Sinwar to escape. Luckily, no one listens to the bumbling Biden-Harris administration.

I see where Lefty, Guardian of Nonsense, is spouting off again. He thinks he knows what Jesus would do in this election. He believes Democrats have moral superiority, compared to “right-wing MAGAs.” Trump is no angel, but Democrats have become the party of immoral, anything-goes type of mentality, which Jesus would have nothing to do with.

One of the greatest disservices that the Democrats have done to the American people is the devaluation of our currency. This has come as a result of their insatiable appetite for government spending on their progressive projects. With the number of Americans who don’t have $1,000 in their savings account to cover emergencies approaching 70%, these people are getting exactly what they deserve if they vote for any Democrat candidate. Get informed or don’t vote!

M. Furlong: How about answering your critics? Where is this Pew Research study that says Dems are twice as likely as Republicans to suffer from mental illness? All I’ve been able to find are conservative websites, with political agendas, touting it, with no links to the study itself. Some young PhD candidate said on X, he “found” it by “analyzing” data in said study, and the right ran with his “scientific” conclusion.

Kamala Harris was asked by Stephen Colbert what she would do differently than Joe Biden. Kamala said she isn’t Joe Biden and she isn’t Donald Trump. Almost everyone on the street can say that too. The real question is, how can she be running for president and not have a better answer than that?

Hey JB in Limerick: First of all Trump didn’t spread any rumors FEMA was out of money. In an MSN news conference, Mayorkas stated there weren’t sufficient funds to deal with another hurricane. And anyway whose responsibility is it to help these poor people? I thought that was FEMA and Biden’s job, who should be reassuring the victims there’s hope. Elon Musk and Trump Republicans have created a website called Progress 2028 that falsely portrays itself as Kamala Harris initiatives. Musk, et al, are spreading and fueling disinformation in an attempt to help boost Trump. Musk and others want to buy their way to an election. They have to lie and deceive to win. Republicans need to stop blaming Kamala Harris for illegal immigration, inflation, crime, foreign policy, gas prices, interest rates or anything else. As Vice President, she had no responsibilities other than waiting patiently for Joe Biden to willingly retire. And she did such a great job doing that, we appointed her to be our 2024 presidential candidate. These are the leadership qualifications our country needs in the White House. Not some rich straight white male ex-president.
