Three teenagers were arrested in Larnaca on Wednesday night after being involved in a fight on Finikoudes beach.
According to the Cyprus News Agency, the fight broke out at around 6.40pm on Wednesday evening, with police rushing to the scene and arresting the three involved.
The oldest of the three was 18 years old and had suffered “an injury to his face”, while the other two, both minors, had suffered abrasions on their scalps.
The 18-year-old said he had seen the two minors stealing on the beach, and that he had taken photographs and videos of them before they attacked him.
A knuckle duster was found in the minors’ possession, while it has been reported that it appears the 18-year-old hit the pair with a stick.
All three are expected to appear in court on Thursday. The police’s investigation into the matter is ongoing.
