WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WGHP) — A car crash has caused a temporary road closure in Winston-Salem.
The 2900 block of Maplewood Avenue between Bethesda Road and Bodford Street is currently shut down as officers investigate a crash that resulted in a down utility pole and power lines across the roadway.
The roadway is expected to be closed for the next several hours.
Drivers are encouraged to find other routes of travel and to use GPS is they are unfamiliar with the area.
