The new facility covers an area of ​​880,000 square feet and provides many services such as the production, maintenance and refurbishment of gas turbine engine components, as well as their performance tests. The facility is expected to be completed in two phases, by the last quarter of 2026 and the third quarter of 2027.

The “Mohammed bin Rashid Aviation Project” provides international companies with high-level connectivity and communications services, as well as being a free zone for the world’s airlines, private aircraft companies and related industries.

The project is located in Dubai South, the entity responsible for its development, and hosts centers for maintenance, training and education, and seeks to support the engineering industries to enhance the emirate’s vision to become a leading global aviation centre.
