If you are into all things hot and spicy food-related, this upcoming festival is one not to miss. Back again for another sizzling edition is the Sia Chilli Fest 2024 taking place in the Nicosia village on November 9. A one-day agenda is planned packed with fiery flavours, cocktails and activities with the red hot chilli of course as the star of the show.
From 10.30am to 4.30pm, the Sia Chilli Fest will welcome chefs, producers, sellers and the public for one grand celebration of spicy food. The festival’s Hot Chilli Ambassador Johnnypep will bring the heat, with bars serving ice-cold beers and cocktails to pair with the street food available. DJs will play uplifting music all day long to amplify the festival vibes and for daredevils, there is one activity that is always highly anticipated.
The Chilli Contest will take place once again to test those who think can handle the heat. A competition will test the participants’ spice tolerance, increasing the heat after every round to declare the 2024 Chilli Champion.
