The Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Keve) on Monday announced that the Cyprus-Austria Business Forum is set to take place on November 21, 2024.
Kicking off at at 9:30am, the event will be held under the theme of “EU Recover Mission – Repower Cyprus”.
According to the chamber, the event is being organised in collaboration with Advantage Austria, the Embassy of Austria in Cyprus, and the Cyprus-Austria Business Association.
Keve also pointed out that the forum will focus on “critical and current issues for Cyprus, such as energy transition, traffic management, water and the environment, civil protection, software development, artificial intelligence, and data science“.
The day will include speeches and presentations addressing these topics, followed by business meetings between Cypriot and Austrian companies.
These interactions, Keve said, aim to foster “collaborations as well as joint projects in these important sectors”.
“Through these activities, we aim to support Cyprus in its recovery and development, whether it concerns the economy, energy, or society,” the chamber said.
Keve also shared that the event is aligned with its broader objectives as the coordinator of the Enterprise Europe Network Cyprus, which aims to reinforce cross-border partnerships.
Businesses and professionals interested in attending the forum and subsequent meetings must register online.
